FusionBit Review: Oldschool ebook library pyramid scheme
There is no information on the FusionBit website indicating who owns or runs the business.
The FusionBit website domain (“fusionbit.club”) was privately registered on November 30th, 2016.
As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.
The FusionBit Product Line
FusionBit has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market FusionBit affiliate membership itself.
Bundled with FusionBit affiliate membership is access to a PLR ebook library.
The FusionBit Compensation Plan
FusionBit affiliates sign up, pay a fee and are then paid to recruit new affiliates who do the same.
Direct Recruitment Commissions
FusionBit affiliates are directly paid to recruit new affiliates.
How much of a direct recruitment commission is paid out is determined by how much a newly recruited affiliate spends on their membership:
- recruit a Standard Plan affiliate ($5) and get paid $1
- recruit a Premium Plan affiliate ($25) and get paid $5
It is unclear whether Standard Plan affiliates are paid $1 or $5 when they recruit a Premium Plan affiliate.
Residual Recruitment Commissions
Residual recruitment commissions in FusionBit are paid out via a binary compensation structure.
A binary compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a binary team, split into two sides (left and right):
The first level of the binary team houses two positions. The second level of the binary team is generated as required, by splitting the two first level positions into another two positions each.
Subsequent levels of the binary team are generated as required, with each new level housing twice as many positions as the previous level.
Commissions are paid out as positions in the binary team are filled. Positions in the binary team are filled via direct and indirect recruitment of new FusionBit affiliates.
At the end of each week FusionBit tallies up recruitment activity on both sides of the binary team.
A commission is paid out for each new pair of recruited affiliates (one affiliate on the left team and one on the right), that were added to the binary team that week.
- Standard Plan affiliates earn 50 cents for their first pair and then $1 per new pair
- Premium Plan affiliates earn $2.50 for their first paid and then $5 per new pair
All FusionBit affiliates are capped from earning on a maximum of 125 pairs each week.
Although not explicitly clarified in the FusionBit compensation plan, it is assumed that Premium Plan affiliates earn 50 cents or $1 per pair of matched Standard Plan affiliates.
Joining FusionBit
FusionBit affiliate membership costs either $5 or $25.
The primary difference between these two membership options is income potential through the FusionBit compensation plan (see above).
Conclusion
Despite the attempt to cash in on a “futuristic” bitcoin’ish company name, FusionBit uses a dated ebook library recruitment model.
The PLR ebooks are pseudo compliance and have nothing to do with the FusionBit MLM opportunity.
Use them, resell them, don’t use them – it doesn’t matter. The ebook library exists solely on the premise that attaching a product or service makes a pyramid scheme legal.
The reality is nothing makes a pyramid scheme legal.
FusionBit affiliates pay a fee and are recruited directly and residually for recruiting others who do the same.
Once recruitment dries up FusionBit will collapse, leaving most affiliates out of pocket.
