Crush Global Review 2.0: Weight loss, CBD oil & supplements
A few weeks back a BehindMLM reader informed me that, since publication of our initial Crush Global review (Nov 2016), the company had “changed significantly”.
Now offering CBD and nutritional products. No membership fee to join. Comp plan has been totally re-written as well.
Crush Global came up for review today and at first I was confused.
The Crush Global we reviewed two years ago marketed savings and rewards membership, part of which was a discounted travel offering.
Turns out there’s a Crush Global that publishes travel guides, only it has nothing to do with Crush Global the MLM company.
After confirming I had the right Crush Global yeah, it looks like the company has done a complete rework since our 2016 review.
Read on for an updated review of the Crush Global MLM opportunity.
The Company
Crush Global is still headed up by founder and CEO Josh Henderson.
The company is still based out Kentucky and on the executive side of things, nothing much appears to have changed.
Crush Global Products
I wasn’t able to pin down when exactly they switched over (Q3 2018?), but Crush Global’s savings and rewards membership is gone.
Crush Global now markets ‘what (they) intend to be the most potent natural supplements in the world!‘
We never cut corners when it comes to potency, quality, and purity. All of our products contain only the best ingredients.

The Crush Global Compensation Plan
The Crush Global compensation plan pays direct retail and recruitment commissions.
Residual commissions are paid via a unilevel compensation structure, with a matching bonus used to extend payable unilevel team levels.
Retail Commissions
The Crush Global compensation plan states that affiliates are able to earn “up to $40” on purchases by retail customers.
The actual retail commission rate is 25% of generated retail sales volume.
Crush Global Affiliate Ranks
There are nine affiliate ranks within the Crush Global compensation plan.
Along with their respective qualification criteria, they are as follows:
- C50PV – generate and maintain 50 PV a month
- C1K – generate and maintain at least 100 PV and 1000 GV a month (max 1000 GV from any one unilevel leg) and recruit and maintain at least two C50PV ranked affiliates
- C5K – maintain 100 PV and generate at least 5000 GV a month (max 2500 GV from any one unilevel leg) and maintain at least two C50PV ranked affiliates

PV stands for “Personal Volume” and is sales volume generated by sales to retail customers and an affiliate’s own orders.
GV stands for “Group Volume” and is PV generated by an affiliate and their downline.
Recruitment Commissions
Crush Global affiliates are paid a commission if an affiliate they’ve recruited signs up with an Enrollment Pack.
- $59.99 enrollment pack generates a $20 commission for the recruiting affiliate
- $74.99 enrollment pack generates a $35 commission for the recruiting affiliate
- $89 enrollment pack generates a $15 commission for the recruiting affiliate, $10 on level 2 and $5 on levels 3 and 4
- $119 enrollment pack generates a $20 commission for the recruiting affiliate, $10 on levels 2 and 3 and $5 on level 4
- $299 enrollment pack generates a $60 commission for the recruiting affiliate, $30 on level 2, $15 on level 3 and $10 on level 4
- $599 enrollment pack generates a $100 commission for the recruiting affiliate, $60 on level 2, $30 on level 3 and $20 on level 4
Note that level 2 for recruitment commissions refers to the upline affiliate who recruited the affiliate who recruited the affiliate signing up with the Enrollment Pack.
Level 3 is the upline affiliate who recruited the level 2 affiliate and level 4 is the upline affiliate who recruited the level 3 affiliate.
The Crush Global compensation plan doesn’t give any indication that free affiliates are exempt from recruitment commissions.
Recruitment Commissions Matching Bonus
The matching bonus on recruitment commissions is tied to recruitment and retention of C50PV or higher ranked affiliates.
- recruit and retain two C50PV or higher ranked affiliates and receive a 10% recruitment commission match on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates)
- recruit and retain eight C50PV or higher ranked affiliates and receive a 10% recruitment commission match on level 1 and 20% on level 2
Residual Commissions
Crush Global pays residual commissions via unilevel compensation structure.
A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):
If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.
Crush Global caps payable unilevel team levels at eight.
Residual commissions are paid as a percentage of sales volume generated across these eight unilevel team levels.
How many unilevel team levels a Crush Global affiliate earns residual commissions on is determined by rank:
- C50PV and C1K affiliates earn 5% on level 1 and to 3
- C5K and C15K affiliates earn 5% on levels 1 to 4
- C25K and C50K affiliates earn 5% on levels 1 to 5
- C100K affiliates earn 5% on levels 1 to 5 and 3% on level 6
- C250K affiliates earn 5% on levels 1 to 5, 3% on level 6 and 2% on level 7
- C500K affiliates earn 5% on levels 1 to 5, 3% on level 6, 2% on level 7 and 1% on level 8
Residual Commission Matching Bonus
Crush Global affiliates earn a 10% match on residual commissions, paid on up to five levels of recruitment.
- C5K affiliates earn a 10% residual commission match on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates)
- C15K affiliates earn a 10% residual commission match on levels 1 and 2
- C25K affiliates earn a 10% residual commission match on levels 1 to 3
- C50K and C100K affiliates earn a 10% residual commission match on levels 1 to 4
- C250K and C500K affiliates earn a 10% residual commission match on levels 1 to 5
Generational Bonus
The Generational Bonus allows a Crush Global affiliate to earn beyond the first eight levels of their unilevel team.
A generation in the Crush Global compensation plan is defined when a C5K or higher ranked affiliate is found in a unilevel leg.
This affiliate caps off the first generation of that leg, with the second beginning immediately after.
If a second C5K or higher ranked affiliate is found deeper within the leg, they cap off the second generation and a third begins.
If no C5K or higher ranked affiliate exists, the second generation extends down the full depth of the leg.
Using this generational structure, Crush Global affiliates can earn on up to five generations in each of their unilevel team legs.
- C5K affiliates earn a 2% Generational Bonus on one generation
- C15K affiliates earn a 2% Generational Bonus on up to two generations
- C25K affiliates earn a 2% Generational Bonus on up to three generations
- C50K and C100K affiliates earn a 2% Generational Bonus on up to four generations
- C250K and C500K affiliates earn a 2% Generational Bonus on up to five generations
Rank Achievement Bonus
Crush Global rewards affiliates who qualify at the 5K and higher ranks with the following one-time bonuses:
- C5K – $1000
- C10K – $3000
- C25K – $5000
- C50K – $10,000
- C100K – $20,000
- C250K – $50,000
- C500K – $100,000
Car Bonus
C15K ranked affiliates receive a $300 monthly Car Bonus.
C50K and higher ranked affiliates receive a $1000 monthly Car Bonus.
Note that rank qualification must be maintained for 90 days prior to Car Bonus payments beginning.
Joining Crush Global
Crush Global affiliate membership is free or up to $599 with the purchase of an Enrollment Pack.
- 10 Day Jump Start Kit, Lyfe & Shyne Pack and Ryse & Shyne Pack – $89
- Life & Lyte Pack, Lyte Launcher Pack, Lyfe Launcher Pack – $119
- Crush Launch Pack – $189
- 3 Lyfe 2 Lyte Pack and Lyte Builder Pack, Lyfe Builder Pack – $299
- 6 Lyfe 5 Lyte Pack, Lyte Crusher Pack and Lyte Crusher Pack – $599
The difference between the above packs is bundled Crush Global products.
The Crush Global compensation plan doesn’t provide any indication that purchasing a more expensive Enrollment Pack leads to potentially higher commissions.
Conclusion
I didn’t think Crush Global’s $299 to $499 a year fee for access was retail viable, so it’s good to see the company pivot.
That said the new supplement offering is a bit ho-hum. There’s nothing wrong with Crush Global’s offered products, it’s just that nothing particularly stood out.
CBD oils, weight loss, energy drinks and “make you feel better” supplements are par for the course and there’s dozens of MLM companies with similar offerings.
This might make it difficult to market Crush Global’s range to retail customers.
And on that note, Crush Global has a notable weak focus on retail sales.
Realistically an affiliate’s 50 PV a month is likely going to come from autoship. There’s no additional retail qualifiers, meaning a Crush Global affiliate can ignore retail and focus on recruiting autoship affiliates.
The only overt sign of this I found was the Rank Achievement Bonus, which Crush Global presents as “a Crush reward as you advance in rank through recruiting, selling and retaining”.
You could argue that “selling” encompasses retail, I just felt its placement implied that it was more selling to recruited affiliates.
In any event let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water.
While Crush Global could certainly do more to encourage retail sales balance, there are no recruitment requirements beyond rank qualification. That caps out at four recruited affiliates, which isn’t unreasonable.
As a prospective Crush Global affiliate what you want to do is establish whether or not your potential upline is meeting their 50 to 200 PV a month spend with equivalent retail sales.
If not, ask why not – and you’re not given a satisfactory answer, you’ve likely found someone running their Crush Global business as an affiliate autoship recruitment scheme.
That’s something you want to avoid at all costs, as the business model simply isn’t sustainable (in addition to regulatory non-compliance).
Pending changes by Crush Global to better track and enforce retail sales, approach with caution.
