Bit Donar provide no information on their website about who owns or runs the business.

The Bit Donar website domain (“bitdonar.com”) was privately registered on February 24th, 2017.

Alexa currently estimate that 96% of traffic to the Bit Donar website originates out of India. This strongly suggests that Bit Donar is being run out of India itself.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

Bit Donar Products

Bit Donar has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market Bit Donar affiliate membership itself.

The Bit Donar Compensation Plan

The Bit Donar compensation plan sees affiliates gift bitcoin to each other via a 2×5 matrix.

A 2×5 matrix places a Bit Donar affiliate at the top of a matrix, with two positions directly under them (level 1):

These two positions form the first level of the matrix. The second level of the matrix is generated by splitting these first two positions into another two positions each.

The third to fifth levels of the matrix are generated in the same manner, with each new level housing twice as many positions as the previous level.

A Bit Donar affiliate signs up and gifts 0.03 BTC to the affiliate who recruited them. This payment in turn qualifies the affiliate to receive 0.03 BTC from two affiliates recruited into the second level of their matrix.

Unlocking the second level of the matrix requires another gifting payment, after which gifting payments are receivable on the second matrix level.

In this manner Bit Donar gift increasing amounts of bitcoin across the five matrix levels as follows:

  • level 1 – gift 0.03 BTC to the affiliate who recruited you and receive 0.03 BTC from two subsequently recruited affiliates
  • level 2 – pay a 0.001 BTC fee, gift 0.05 BTC to your second upline and receive 0.05 BTC from four affiliates
  • level 3 – pay a 0.02 BTC fee, gift 0.1 BTC to your third upline and receive 0.1 BTC from eight affiliates
  • level 4 – pay a 0.05 BTC fee, gift 0.2 BTC to your fourth upline and receive 0.2 BTC from sixteen affiliates
  • level 5 – pay a 0.5 BTC fee, gift 1 BTC to your fifth upline and receive 1 BTC from thirty-two affiliates

Note the second upline is the affiliate who recruited the affiliate who recruited you. The third upline is the affiliate who recruited the second upline and so on and so forth.

Conclusion

On the FAQ section of their website, Bit Donar describe themselves as

a direct M2M donations platform where members voluntarily give and receive donations.

“M2M” stands for “member to member” and when you see used to describe an MLM opportunity, it’s code for cash gifting.

Under the guise of giving and receiving donations, Bit Donar affiliates gift bitcoin to each other. What differentiates these gifting payments from legitimate donations, is that a donation isn’t made with the expectation of receiving payment.

Payments within Bit Donar open up matrix levels, through which existing affiliates receive money from newly recruited affiliates.

Seeing as gifting is a zero sum game, extra fees are collected to distribute to top affiliate recruiters within the company.

As with all gifting scams, once affiliate recruitment dries up so too will gifting payments within the scheme. At that point Bit Donar collapses, with the majority of affiliates mathematically guaranteed to lose money.
