zeekrewardsAs part of our continued coverage of proceedings against Zeek Rewards’ top thieves, news today that on September 30th, Judge Mullen confirmed the default judgement entered against David Sorrells.

Following the rejection of his Motion to Dismiss late last year, Sorrells had a default judgement of $1.19 million entered against him.

As has been the theme with Zeek Rewards’s top investors, Sorrells to date has failed to pay back the victims he stole from.

This finally prompted the Zeek Receiver to file a motion to confirm the judgement entered, which is what Judge Mullen signed off on on Friday.

In doing so, Mullen affirmed the Receiver is now ‘allowed to move forward with subsequent collection proceedings against Sorrells‘.

The nature of those proceedings remains to be seen. Whatever the Receiver comes up with though, hopefully it’s a signal to Zeek’s other top investors who have thus far ignored rendered judgements against them.

Stay tuned…
