Skainet Systems has received a pyramid fraud warning from the Central Bank of Russia (CBR).

As per the CBR’s March 14th warning, Skainet Systems exhibits “signs of a financial pyramid”.

Skainet Systems is an MLM trading ruse Ponzi run by German national Michael Baur (aka Micha Baur).

Germany’s BaFin issued a Skainet Systems securities fraud warning back in January. Baur however is hiding out in Dubai.

Skainet Systems entered its collapse trajectory in late 2024. By the end of January Skainet Systems’ website traffic had plummeted and the scheme was on the verge of collapse.

Last month new suckers were found in France. New future victims in France are currently keeping Skainet Systems alive.

As of February 2025, SimilarWeb tracked 82% of Skainet Systems’ website traffic from France. The remaining 8% is from Italy and Croatia, with both countries in decline.

CBR’s warning could signal recruitment of Russian investors this month, or cleaning up prior Skainet Systems scamming in Russia.
