OmegaPro.IN has received a securities fraud warning from Spain.

As per the Comision Nacional del Mercado de Valores’ February 5th warning, OmegaPro.IN

is not authorised to provide the investment services and activities subject to the activity restriction in accordance with … the Spanish Securities Markets and Investment Services Act.

This is the equivalent of a securities fraud warning in other jurisdictions.

OmegaPro.IN is an attempted reboot of the notorious Dubai-based OmegaPro Ponzi scheme. Who is behind OmegaPro.IN remains unclear.

Beyond appropriation of OmegaPro’s name and branding though, it is unlikely OmegaPro.IN has anything to do with the original scam.

Presumably OmegaPro.IN recruitment in Spain picked up in January 2023, prompting the CNMV’s fraud warning.

As of December 2023, SimilarWeb tracked top sources of traffic to OmegaPro.IN’s website as El Salvador (26%), Colombia (20%), Ecuador (10%), France (8%) and Switzerland (7%).
