OakSmart has received a securities fraud warning from New Zealand’s Financial Markets Authority.

As per the FMA’s December 19th warning;

The FMA has been made aware of online webinars hosted by Oak Smart promoters in New Zealand.

Oak Smart is not registered on the Financial Service Providers Register to provide financial services in New Zealand.

Oak Smart also promises unrealistically high returns for its investment products, which are unlikely to be achievable by most investors.

We recommend caution when dealing with Oak Smart or anyone promoting its products or services.

OakSmart is an MLM crypto Ponzi launched in the second half of 2024.

Originally OakSmart was headed up by Chief Marketing Officer “TR”,

“TR” is believed to be a Canadian national named Tristan.

After the California DFPI issued an OakSmart desist and refrain order last month, TR disappeared from OakSmart’s marketing. About a week later, OakSmart initiated an “OAK USD Coin” exit-scam.

Perusal of OakSmart’s social media channels reveals the scam is still flogging its OAK USD Coin exit-scam.

As of November 2024, website traffic tracked by SimilarWeb suggests the majority of OakSmart investors are from Vietnam and the US.
