The third indicted Forcount Ponzi scammer has been arrested.

Antonia Perez Hernandez was arrested in Florida on December 16th.

Hernandez was indicted on December 6th, along with fellow Forcount Ponzi scammers Francis Silva and Juan Tacuri.

As per Hernandez’s indictment, she stands accused of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud and (making) false statements.

Wire fraud pertains to Forcount being a Ponzi scheme. The false statements charge followed Hernandez lying to federal agents about her involvement in Forcount.

Following her arrest, Hernandez was released on a $75,000 signature bond. As per Hernandez’s bond conditions, she is prohibited from participating in “any business involving multi-level marketing”.

Hernandez is also required to disclose all her cryptocurrency assets to Pretrial Services.

Update 5th February 2023 – Hernandez’s arraignment was held on January 26th. She pled not guilty to the charges against her.

Hernandez’s signature bond was also changed to a personal recognizance bond, same $75,000 amount.

Looking forward, an initial pre-trial conference is scheduled for February 14th.
