Beyond Slim abandons MLM business model
Beyond Slim has abandoned its MLM business model.
I couldn’t find any official announcement but the change appears to have taken place towards the end of last month.
On October 2nd, Beyond Slim sought to reassure promoters and customers on FaceBook; “We’re not “going under.” We’re going over the top.”
Beyond Slim is terming its new single-level commission structure as “Social Referral Marketing”.
To their credit, Beyond Slim provides a copy of its new compensation plan on its website. Commissions are tied to personal customer sales, with a focus on retail autoship.
There is also a company-wide sales bonus pool, however qualification is tied to personal sales volume (again with a focus on retail autoship).
Beyond Slim is a reboot of Freelife, fronted by founder and CEO Ray Faltinsky (right).
BehindMLM’s published 2020 Beyond Slim review revealed “a healthy retail orientated compensation plan”, although we did question the retail viability of its flagship ZipSlim supplement.
Since 2020 Beyond Slim has expanded its product catalog to include “energy and mood” and “radiant skin”. Weight loss remains the company’s primary focus.
As of August 2025, SimilarWeb was tracking just ~2000 monthly visits to Beyond Slim’s website. 100% of Beyond Slim’s website traffic originates from the US.
