profiads-logoThere is no information on the ProfiAds website indicating who owns or runs the business.

The ProfiAds website domain (“profiads.com”) was registered on the 13th of April 2016, however the domain registration is set to private.

The ProfiAds website default language is German, with German also featured on the company’s social media profiles.

This strongly suggests that the owner of ProfiAds is German, or at the very least speaks German.

Another possibility is the ProfiAds admin is Russian, with Alexa currently estimating that 60.5% of all traffic to the ProfiAds website originates out of Russia. The ProfiAds website is also hosted in Russia.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

The ProfiAds Product Line

ProfiAds has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market ProfiAds affiliate membership itself.

Once signed up, ProfiAds affiliates invest in “adpacks” to participate in the attached MLM opportunity.

Bundled with each adpack investment are a series of advertising credits, which can be used to display advertising on the ProfiAds website.

The ProfiAds Compensation Plan

ProfiAds affiliates invest in adpacks on the expectation of an advertised 125% or 230% ROI.

How much of a ROI is paid out is determined by how much a ProfiAds affiliate invests:

  • invest €50 EUR and receive a 125% ROI
  • invest €100 EUR and receive a 230% ROI

Referral commissions are available on funds invested by recruited affiliates, paid out down three levels of recruitment (unilevel):

  • level 1 (personally recruited affiliates) – 15%
  • levels 2 and 3 – 5%

Joining ProfiAds

Affiliate membership with ProfiAds is free, however affiliates must invest at least €50 EUR to participate in the attached MLM opportunity.

Conclusion

ProfiAds presents a cookie-cutter adcredit Ponzi scheme.

Affiliates invest €50 or €100 EUR on the promise of an advertised ROI, paid out of subsequently invested funds.

The use of newly invested funds to pay off existing investors makes ProfiAds a Ponzi scheme.

Despite this, ProfiAds profess they aren’t a Ponzi scheme:

Is ProfiAds a HYIP, Ponzi, Pyramidal system or illegal?

No, this is not an investment site, or illegal in any way. We sell advertising services.

Thing is, selling advertising doesn’t generate a ROI – investments do. And calling a ROI “cashback” doesn’t make it any less of a ROI.

If you deposit $x and get more than $x back, as per an advertised percentage, you invested and received a ROI.

As with all Ponzi schemes, once new investment dries up ProfiAds will collapse.

The anonymous owners have likely preloaded the scheme with positions, ensuring they and a few early adopters receive the lion’s share of invested funds. Everyone else, that includes you, loses out.
