The My Daily Choice Product Line

peak-spray-my-daily-choice-productListed as the flagship product of My Daily Choice on their website is Peak.

Peak is an “adaptogen formula” that

combines the highest grade of Deer Antler Velvet with Antioxidants from some of the most nutrient rich super fruits on the planet.

For those unfamiliar with the term, Deer Antler Velvetrefers to the whole cartilaginous antler in a precalcified stage‘.

Peak is sold in spray form, with My Daily Choice claiming it

  • improves general health
  • boosts immune system
  • supports anti-aging
  • is a performance enhancer and
  • supports healthy libido

According to Natural Geographic, deer antler velvet is

from male deer antlers during the stage when the antlers are covered in soft fuzz.

The unproven performance enhancer is often used by athletes who believe it helps heal cartilage and tendon injuries more quickly and boosts strength and endurance.

However, it’s not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and is banned by the National Football League.

Make of that what you will.

Two other sprays feature on the My Daily Choice website:

  • Boost – “healthy energy” and
  • Shield – ‘an Alkaline Formula with Coral Calcium that will help balance the PH levels in your body

“Buy now” buttons feature on the My Daily Choice website, however if a visitor clicks on the button the website demands an affiliate referral code.

As such, no retail pricing for My Daily Choice’s product line is provided to the general public on their website.

The My Daily Choice compensation plan mentions “a pack” retailing $34.95, but what “a pack” refers to is unclear.

Presumably it’s one bottle of any of the three sprays My Daily Choice market, but given the information provided by the company I can’t say for sure.

Update 13th November 2017 –  My Daily Choice now market three additional sprays; Sleep, Trim365 and Brain.

Sleep ‘helps you sleep faster, maintain a healthy sleep cycle and improve the quality of restful sleep‘.

Trim365 is

is a weight management formula which utilizes Garcinia Cambogia and a proprietary blend to curb appetite, reduce caloric intake by up to 25%, burn fat faster, and support a healthy metabolism.

Brain contains ingredients that ‘support cognitive function, improve memory, manage stress, and maintain focus‘.

My Daily Choice also now market

  • Brain Bears – a stress and anxiety management supplement for children
  • Brain Fuel Plus – a dietary supplement that when taken ‘support(s) memory, help(s) manage stress (and) maintain focus
  • Daily Savings Club – access to a third-party discount network offering ‘thousands of discounts in fifteen categories’
  • HempWorx 500 and 750 – CBD herbal drops

For some reason HempWorx is featured on the My Daily Choice website but is not listed on their product page (you have to Google search to find it).

Also note that My Daily Choice still fail to provide retail pricing for any of their products to general public.

How much of a commission is earned depends on how many packs (bottles of spray?) a retail customer orders:

  • 1 pack – $10
  • 3 packs – $20
  • 8 packs – $50
  • 20 packs – $100

Unilevel Commissions

The first of My Daily Choice’s residual commissions are paid out using a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):

unilevel-commission-structure

If any of these level 1 affiliates go on to recruit new affiliates of their own, they are placed on level 2 of the original affililiates unilevel team.

If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

My Daily Choice cap payable unilevel levels at ten, with how many levels an affiliate is paid out on determined by their affiliate rank:

  • Affiliate – 25% on level 1
  • Builder – 30% on level 1
  • Director – 35% on level 1 and 10% on level 2
  • Executive – 50% on level 1, 10% on level 2, 8% on level 3 and 5% on level 4

  • 25K and 50K – 50% on level 1, 10% on level 2, 8% on level 3, 5% on level 4, 3% on levels 5 and 6 and 2% on level 7

Note that the percentages above are paid out on sales volume generated by recruited affiliates on their respective unilevel levels.

Recruitment Commissions

When joining My Daily Choice, affiliates have the option of purchasing a Builder Pack ($69.99), Director Pack ($149.99) or Executive Pack ($299.99).

All three of these packs are commissionable, serving as defacto recruitment commissions at their respective levels.

Commissions on the three packs are paid out via the unilevel commissions structure outline above.

Binary Commissions

The second residual commission paid out by My Daily Choice is done so via a binary compensation structure.

A binary compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of two binary teams, left and right:

binary-MLM-compensation-plan

Each side of the binary represents recruited affiliates, either recruited directly or through the recruiting efforts of an affiliate’s upline and downline.

Sales volume is tracked on both sides of the binary, with a percentage of the sales volume generated by the weaker leg paid out monthly.

Note that before sales volume is calculated, any volume paid out via the unilevel is first subtracted from both binary teams.

How much of a percentage of the volume generated by the weaker leg is paid out, is determined by a My Daily Choice affiliate’s rank:

  • Affiliate – 8% (capped at $500)
  • Builder – 10% (capped at $1000)
  • Director – 12% (capped at $1500)
  • Executive to 250K – 15% (capped at $3000 to $250,000)
  • 500K – 18% (capped at $500,000)
  • Super Affiliate – 20% (capped at $1,000,000)

Check Match Bonus

My Daily Choice’s Check Match Bonus pays affiliate a percentage of the commissions paid out to affiliates in their downline, tracked down a maximum ten levels of recruitment.

How many levels of recruitment the bonus is paid out on depends on a My Daily Choice affiliate’s own rank:

  • Affiliate – 15% on level 1
  • Builder – 20% on level 1
  • Director – 25% on level 1 and 20% on level 2
  • Executive – 30% on level 1, 20% on level 2, 10% on level 3 and 5% on level 4
  • 5K – 30% on level 1, 20% on level 2 and 10% on levels 3 and 4

  • 100K – 30% on level 1, 20% on level 2, 10% on levels 3 and 4 and 5% on levels 5 to 8
  • 250K – 30% on level 1, 20% on level 2, 10% on levels 3 and 4 and 5% on levels 5 to 9

Conclusion

On the topic of My Daily Choice’s deer antler velvet product line I can’t say much. It’s been used in China for donkey’s years but alot of the purported health claims remain unsubstantiated.

One thing I read about deer antler velvet was that different parts of the antlers were more sought after, the tip in particular.

As far as I could see My Daily Choice didn’t disclose which part of the antler they were using in their Peak spray product.

Looking at the $30 or so dollar price though and fact that it’s blended with other ingredients, I’d wager My Daily Choice aren’t using the sought after bits. Or if they are, than the amounts used per bottle of spray must be miniscule.

On the compensation plan side of things, My Daily Choice offers well-defined retail commissions which is great to see. You sign up as an affiliate and market the products to retail customers, nothing simpler.

Unfortunately there is a question of retail viability in how the rest of the plan is set up, particularly its leaning towards recruiting affiliates and signing them up on autoship.

We’ll start with the packs offered affiliates, which directly impact an affiliates income potential via the compensation plan. This is clearly “pay to play” and is advertised as such by My Daily Choice affiliates:

pay-to-play-my-daily-choice-compensation-plan

Ranks can of course be obtained via other methods, but it’s clear the intended qualification process is the purchase of one of the three offered packs.

The monthly commission qualification is set at 50 PV and 100 PV for the higher ranks, which is conveniently the two autoship levels offered by My Daily Choice.

Infact My Daily Choice are pretty blase about this, describing autoship as follows in their compensation plan:

The MDC Auto-Delivery Program (AD) is the most convenient way to have a monthly supply of products while maintaining compensation plan qualifications.

There are two options for the MDC Auto-Delivery Program – a 50PV Auto-Delivery and a 100PV Auto-Delivery.

A 50PV AD order will allow you to become active and keep your rollover volume. A 100PV AD order will allow you maximize the compensation plan.

Sign up with a pack, jump on 100 PV a month autoship to “maximize” your income potential and then recruit others who do the same.

My Daily Choice’s affiliate rank qualification only further encourages this, demanding affiliates recruit at least three affiliates who then are also likely to sign up with 50PV or 100PV a month autoship.

Again, I’ll underscore that it is possible to achieve all of this via retail, but the likelihood of that happening is questionable.

Especially when you have My Daily Choice affiliates promoting the company’s autoship like this:

autoship-promotion-my-daily-choice

I suspect autoship recruitment is general culture over at My Daily Choice, however by all means verify this yourself with your prospective upline.

Ask them how many retail customers they have purchasing the order a month versus recruited affiliates on autoship.

You can also look at how they approached you about the company, did they lead with the product or the opportunity. Did you even know what deer antler velvet was before you were told about the business opportunity?

Approach with caution.

Update 30th March 2018 – In our last update to this review we noted My Daily Choice were selling HempWorx products.

Since then HempWorx has been launched with its own website.

The HempWorx website provides no mention of My Daily Choice but does provide the same corporate address.

Instead of providing company ownership information, the “about” section of the HempWorx website instead provides information about the company’s products.

When you view the HempWorx compensation plan, as hosted on the HempWorx website, documentation for the My Daily Choice compensation plan appears.

As far as I can tell HempWorx LLC is owned and operated by My Daily Choice. Why this information is not disclosed on the HempWorx website is unclear.

Since our update last November, the HempWorx product line-up has been expanded to include

  • Renew – an anti-aging CBD cream with “apple stem cells”
  • Revive – a “CBD infused collagen cream”
  • Relief – an “icy pain rub” and
  • HempWorx for Pets – Dog treats and “CBD oil for pets”

The same HempWorx branded products are also available on the My Daily Choice website.

Update 30th September 2020 – Although not a fully-fledged review, BehindMLM has published an article on My Daily Choice’s latest offering, Akashx.
