Monyx Review: Lending ICO Ponzi that “outperforms bitcoin”?
Monyx provide no information on their website about who owns or runs the company.
There is a vending machine payment app bearing a similar name (Monyx Wallet), however as far as I can tell the two companies are unrelated.
The Monyx website domain (“monyx.io”) was privately registered on November 17th, 2017.
As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.
Monyx Products
Monyx has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market Monyx affiliate membership itself.
The Monyx Compensation Plan
Monyx affiliates invest in MYX points at a rate of 45 cents to $1 each.
MYX points are then “lent” back to Monyx on the promise of a daily ROI.
- invest $100 to $1000 and receive a daily ROI plus 0.1% bonus for 140 days
- invest $1001 to $10,000 and receive a daily ROI plus 0.2% bonus for 120 days
- invest $10,001 to $50,000 and receive a daily ROI plus 0.3% bonus for 80 days
- invest $50,001 to $100,000 and receive a daily ROI plus 0.4% bonus for 60 days
Monyx pay referral commissions via a unilevel compensation structure.
A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):
If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.
Using this unilevel compensation structure, Monyx pay referral commissions both on funds initially invested and then again on MYX points parked with the company.
Initial Investment Commissions
- 8% on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates)
- 3% on level 2
- 1% on level 3
MYX Points Lending Commissions
- 8% on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates)
- 3% on level 2
- 2% on level 3
- 1% on level 4 and
- 0.5% on level 5
Joining Monyx
Monyx affiliate membership is free, however free affiliates can only earn referral commissions.
Full participation in the Monyx income opportunity requires a minimum $100 investment.
Conclusion
Monyx claim to be “the future of investing” and
the first investment platform that aims to outperform Bitcoin on a risk-adjusted basis through state-of-the-art Algorithmic Trading powered by Artificial Intelligence.
Despite providing no evidence of having an AI trading bot or making trades, Monyx claim they’ve
traded successfully with our algorithms since 2013, and have now decided to open up for outside capital.
Monyx claim their trades have “outperformed Bitcoin during 2017”.
For two primary reasons, Monyx’s claims fail the Ponzi logic test.
First off the Monyx website didn’t exist until last month. The company has no history prior to November, 2017, ie. it didn’t exist.
Second of all, if the anonymous Monyx owners had been outperforming bitcoin since 2013 with their “algorithms”, surely they’d be among the world’s richest by now?
Why instead are they soliciting investment from randoms over the internet? Why share the profits Monyx is claiming to generate?
Unfortunately for Monyx investors, all we’re looking at here is yet another ICO lending Ponzi scam.
Monyx’s owners sell off worthless tokens to gullible investors, on nothing more than baseless projections:
With Monyx, you are always guaranteed to earn the profit in one way or another.
$10,000 invested in Monyx ICO is projected to be worth $150,000 in Q1 2018.
The end-game for admins of lending Ponzi scams is pretty straight forward:
ROIs are paid out through the internal exchange until affiliate recruitment inevitably slows down and invested funds run low.
At that point the anonymous Monyx admins stop paying out and disappear with what’s left.
Early Monyx investors make a bit through ROI withdrawals while they last, and of course through pyramid recruitment. The vast majority of investors (everyone else) loses out.
This obvious ponzi scam is currently being pimped by David Miller and Sindu Thomas. Two long time scamming crooks! I can’t wait for the authorities to start going after these habitual crooks!
This scam promised price $50 in February , now its price only $0.44
Fu**** scammer.
Monyx ico price was $1
I will kill theses bastards .
