Marlinn Group fails to provide ownership or executive information on its website.

Marlinn Group’s website domain (“marlinn.io”), was privately registered on December 14th, 2024.

By July 2025 Marlinn Group had found someone to play fictional CEO Alejandro Morales:

The above is taken from a video published to Marlinn Group’s official YouTube channel on July 3rd.

“Alejandro Morales” is played by Lex Morales, a US expat comedian living in Thailand .

Morales works as a producer at The Comedy Joint, a Bangkok comedy club he co-founded. “Funwithlex” is another comedy business venture of Morales’.

Boris CEO schemes, where an actor is hired to play a fictional executive, are typically run by eastern European scammers (Russia, Ukraine and/or Belarus).

Thailand emerged as a hotspot for fleeing Russians after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.

Chinese scammers are also known for running Boris CEO scams:

Curiously, as of July 2025 SimilarWeb was tracking 100% of Marlinn Group’s website traffic from Bulgaria.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

Marlinn Group’s Products

Marlinn Group has no retailable products or services.

Promoters are only able to market Marlinn Group promoter membership itself.

Marlinn Group’s Compensation Plan

Marlinn Group promoters invest tether (USDT). This is done on the promise of passive returns:

  • invest 100 USDT and receive a 0.9% a day, capped at 300%
  • invest 300 USDT and receive 1.2% a day, capped at 400%
  • invest 500 USDT and receive 1.5% a day, capped at 500%

Once a ROI limit is reached, reinvestment is required to continue earning.

Note Marlin Group pays returns and MLM commissions and bonuses in “promissory notes” (aka “PN credits”).

Promissory notes can only be converted back into USDT for withdrawal within Marlin Group itself.

The MLM side of Marlinn Group pays on recruitment of promoter investors.

Marlinn Group Promoter Ranks

There are seven promoter ranks within Marlinn Group’s compensation plan.

Along with their respective qualification criteria, they are as follows:

  1. Junior – generate 1000 USDT in weaker binary team side investment volume
  2. Senior – generate 5000 USDT in weaker binary team side investment volume
  3. Master – generate 10,000 USDT in weaker binary team side investment volume
  4. Elite – generate 50,000 USDT in weaker binary team side investment volume
  5. Primus – generate 100,000 USDT in weaker binary team side investment volume
  6. Titan – generate 500,000 USDT in weaker binary team side investment volume
  7. Ultima – generate 1,000,000 USDT in weaker binary team side investment volume

“Binary team” is explained in the “residual commissions” section below.

Referral Commissions

Marlin Group pays promoters when personally recruited promoters invest:

  • recruit a 100 USDT investment tier promoter and receive 7%
  • recruit a 300 USDT investment tier promoter and receive 9%
  • recruit a 500 USDT investment tier promoter and receive 12%

Residual Commissions

Marlinn Group pays residual commissions via a binary compensation structure.

A binary compensation structure places a promoter at the top of a binary team, split into two sides (left and right):

The first level of the binary team houses two positions. The second level of the binary team is generated by splitting these first two positions into another two positions each (4 positions).

Subsequent levels of the binary team are generated as required, with each new level housing twice as many positions as the previous level.

Positions in the binary team are filled via direct and indirect recruitment of promoters. Note there is no limit to how deep a binary team can grow.

At the end of each day Marlinn Group tallies up new investment volume on both sides of the binary team.

Residual commissions are paid as a percentage of new investment volume on the weaker binary team side, based on how much a Marlinn Group promoter has invested.

  • 100 USDT tier investors receive a 7% residual commission rate
  • 300 USDT tier investors receive a 9% residual commission rate
  • 500 USDT tier investors receive a 12% residual commission rate

Once paid out on, volume is matched against the stronger binary team and flushed. Leftover volume on the stronger binary team side carries over.

Matching Bonus

Marlinn Group pays a Matching Bonus via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places a promoter at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited promoter placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 promoters recruit new promoters, they are placed on level 2 of the original promoter’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 promoters recruit new promoters, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

Marlinn Group caps the Matching Bonus at eighteen unilevel team levels.

The Matching Bonus is paid out as a percentage of residual commissions earned across these eighteen levels based on rank:

  • Junior ranked promoters receive a 3% match across three unilevel team levels
  • Senior ranked promoters receive a 5% match across five unilevel team levels
  • Master ranked promoters receive a 7% match across seven unilevel team levels
  • Elite ranked promoters receive a 9% match across nine unilevel team levels
  • Primus ranked promoters receive a 12% match across twelve unilevel team levels
  • Titan ranked promoters receive a 15% match across fifteen unilevel team levels
  • Ultima ranked promoters receive a 18% match across eighteen unilevel team levels

Marlinn Group Conclusion

Marlinn Group’s website is full of baloney about AI trading bots:

Marlinn Group fails to provide verifiable evidence it generates external revenue of any kind.

Marlinn Group also fails to provide evidence it has registered its passive returns securities offering with financial regulators. In Thailand this would be the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission.

As it stands, the only verifiable source of revenue entering Marlinn Group is new investment.

Using new investment to pay ROI withdrawals would make Marlinn Group a Ponzi scheme.

As with all MLM Ponzi schemes, once promoter recruitment runs dry so too will new investment.

This will starve Marlinn Group of ROI revenue, eventually prompting a collapse.

The math behind Ponzi schemes guarantees that when they collapse, the majority of participants lose money.
