Forest Owner Review: Virtual tree planting & recruitment
There is no information on the Forest Owner website indicating who owns or runs the business.
The Forest Owner website domain (“forestowner.com”) was first registered on the 6th of December 2013, with the registration recently updated on the 14th of April 2015.
“Agency Creater LLC” is listed as the domain owner along with an address in Ulyanovsk, Russia.
This indicates whoever owns Forest Owner is likely based in Russia, with no further information provided.
As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.
The Forest Owner Product Line
Forest Owner has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market affiliate membership with the company itself.
The Forest Owner Compensation Plan
Forest Owner’s compensation plan sees affiliates make $15 deposits, and then earn commissions when they recruit others who do the same.
At least one $15 deposit is required to earn commissions, which are paid out via a unilevel style compensation structure.
A unilevel style compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly below them (level 1):
If any of these level 1 affiliates go on the recruit new affiliates of their own, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth.
Forest Owner cap payable unilevel levels at three, with commissions paid as a percentage of $15 positions bought by recruited affiliates in a unilevel team.
How much of a commission is paid out and down how many levels depends on how many positions a Forest Owner affiliate themselves has purchased:
- level 1 (purchase 1 position) – 40% commission (personally recruited affiliates)
- level 2 (purchase 2 positions) – 20% commission
- level 3 (purchase 3 positions – 10% commission
Joining Forest Owner
Affiliate membership with Forest Owner is free, however an affiliate must purchase at least one $15 position in order to participate in the income opportunity.
As such the defacto minimum cost of Forest Owner affiliate membership is $15.
Conclusion
Our intention is not to create another social networking farminmg (sic) game.
The aim of the project is to plant real trees, invite friends help our participants to earn money.
Intentions and aims are all very well, but the reality is that Forest Owner functions as three-level deep pyramid scheme.
Affiliates are encouraged to purchase a minimum of three positions to earn off positions bought of recruited affiliates, with nothing other than recruitment and affiliate’s pumping money into the scheme generating revenue.
Whether or not any of the funds that enter Forest Owner is spent on tree-planting becomes irrelevant, given the otherwise fraudulent nature of the business model.
As with all pyramid scheme, once recruitment of new affiliates dies down Forest Owner affiliate’s earnings will grind to a halt.
You’re pretty much looking at a $45 commitment from each recruited affiliate, with those at the bottom losing out once the Forest Owner collapses.
This is a nice ruse for a MLM pyramid scheme.
Think of how many schemes are ran in the name of helping/saving/preserving the enviroment. Carbon Credits, E-Waste Fees & U.N. Agenda 21 come to mind.
All are part of the Church of Climatology where all scientists, politicians and community organizers are knowingly or unknowlingly helping set up the elites dream world (which is a dystopian nightmare for 99.9% of humanity BTW).
Forest Owner is going to have a good run based on this.
If I were a dishonest person, I would pay into Forest Owners Pyramid scheme and watch as the eco ruse works it’s faith amoung the people below me; knowing that no pay-in to the scheme is going to plant any real trees.
The only enviroment Forest Owner is helping is the Pyramid building enviroment.
