Retail Commissions

Enerup World pays a 25% commission on product purchases by retail customers.

Fast Start Bonus

The Fast Start Bonus is a recruitment bonus that pays $120 if an Enerup World affiliate

  1. recruits 2 affiliates or more; and
  2. generates at least $400 in product sales

Note the above Fast Start Bonus criteria must be accomplished within a new Enerup World affiliates’ first 90 days.

Each Enerup World affiliate can qualify for the Fast Start Bonus twice (once on either side of their binary team).

Residual Commissions (binary)

A binary compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a binary team, split into two sides (left and right):

The first level of the binary team houses two positions. The second level of the binary team is generated by splitting these first two positions into another two positions each (4 positions).

Subsequent levels of the binary team are generated as required, with each new level housing twice as many positions as the previous level.

Positions in the binary team are filled via direct and indirect recruitment of affiliates. Note there is no limit to how deep a binary team can grow.

Residual binary team commissions are paid weekly as a percentage of every 300 GV matched on across both sides of the binary team:

  • Junior Associates earn a 10% residual rate, capped at $500 a week
  • Consultants earn a 10% residual commission rate, capped at $1000 a week
  • Bronze Consultants earn a 10% residual commission rate, capped at $1500 a week
  • Silver Consultants earn a 15% residual commission rate, capped at $5000 a week
  • Gold Consultants earn a 20% residual commission rate, capped at $10,000 a week
  • Ambassadors earn a 20% residual commission rate, capped at $20,000 a week
  • Platinum Ambassadors earn a 20% residual commission rate, capped at $30,000 a week
  • Diamond Ambassadors earn a 20% residual commission rate, capped at $40,000 a week
  • International Ambassadors earn a 20% residual commission rate, capped at $50,000 a week
  • World Ambassadors earn a 20% residual commission rate, capped at $75,000 a week

Residual Commissions (unilevel)

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

Enerup World caps payable unilevel team levels at ten.

Residual unilevel team commissions are paid as a percentage of sales volume generated across these three levels as follows:

  • Junior Associates through Bronze Consultants earn 5% on levels 1 and 2 and 4% on level 3
  • Silver Consultants earn 5% on levels 1 and 2 and 4% on levels 3 and 4
  • Gold Consultants earn 5% on levels 1 and 2 and 4% on levels 3 to 5
  • Ambassadors earn 5% on levels 1 and 2, 4% on levels 3 to 5 and 3% on level 6
  • Platinum Ambassadors earn 5% on levels 1 and 2, 4% on levels 3 to 5, 3% on level 6 and 2% on level 7
  • Diamond Ambassadors earn 5% on levels 1 and 2, 4% on levels 3 to 5, 3% on level 6 and 2% on levels 7 and 8
  • International Ambassadors earn 5% on levels 1 and 2, 4% on levels 3 to 5, 3% on level 6, 2% on level 7 and 1% on levels 8 and 9
  • World Ambassadors earn 5% on levels 1 and 2, 4% on levels 3 to 5, 3% on level 6, 2% on level 7 and 1% on levels 8 to 10

Matching Bonus

Enerup World pays a Matching Bonus on residual unilevel team commissions down four levels of recruitment:

  • Bronze Consultants earn a 10% match on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates)
  • Silver Consultants earn a 15% match on level 1 and 10% on level 2
  • Gold Consultants earn a 20% match on level 1 and 10% on levels 2 and 3
  • Ambassadors and higher earn a 20% match on level 1 and 10% on levels 2 to 4

Leadership Bonus

The Leadership Bonus is another matching bonus. The Leadership Bonus is paid to Gold Consultants and higher as a match on Gold Consultant earnings in across up to four unilevel team levels.

  • Gold Consultants earn a 1% Leadership Bonus on level 1
  • Ambassadors earn a 1% Leadership Bonus on level 1 and 2% on level 2
  • Platinum Ambassadors earn a 1% Leadership Bonus on level 1, 2% on level 2 and 3% on level 3
  • Diamond Ambassadors and higher earn a 1% Leadership Bonus on level 1, 2% on level 2, 3% on level 3 and 4% on level

EW Pool Bonus

Enerup World takes 2% of company-wide sales volume and places it into the EW Pool.

The EW Pool is made up of five smaller rank-corresponding pools as follows:

  • Ambassadors share 15% of EW Pool
  • Platinum Ambassadors share 17% of the EW Pool
  • Diamond Ambassadors share 20% of the EW Pool
  • International Ambassadors share 23% of the EW Pool
  • World Ambassadors share 25% of the EW Pool

Travel Incentive Bonus

Enerup World’s compensation plan states it “sets a yearly event for those who qualified associates.” It’s unclear what that specifically means with respect to costs.

The Travel Incentive Bonus appears designed to reduce costs, by distribution 1% of company-wide sales volume to Gold Consultant and higher ranked affiliates.

Joining Enerup World

Enerup World affiliate membership is $59 CAD and then $69 CAD annually.

Note Enerup World’s compensation plan states EW Associate ranked affiliate (i.e. new affiliates) are required to “buy [a] Starter Kit”. Enerup World Starter Kit costs are not disclosed on its website.

Enerup World

While Enerup World has a large product catalog, nothing really stands out. It feels very “white-label”, in that a bunch of products are mashed together from a catalog.

In going through the range I didn’t see anything that really stood out. Similar products targeting similar benefits are readily available from any number of online retailers.

One thing that did stick out was Enerup World claiming a number of its supplements were “Health Canada approved”.

In the example above we have Enerup World’s EW 11 Superantioxidant supplement. Of note is the corresponding NPN number 80065420.

When I ran this NPN against Health Canada’s database, I got a product that appears to have nothing to do with Enerup World:

Let’s try another one:

Enerup World’s EW UltimateShapeUp supplement’s NPN is 80085277. This time the correct product did come up:

I’m not sure if the first NPN we ran was a typo on Enerup World’s behalf or if they’re being dodgy. But it does seem at least some of Enerup World’s supplements are indeed Health Canada approved.

From Health Canada’s website;

Health Canada regulates natural health products (NHPs) so that Canadians can have confidence that the products they use are safe, effective and of high quality.

That’s at least something but, like I said earlier, I feel Enerup World is missing a standout product to market.

Moving on to Enerup World’s compensation plan, there’s a lot on offer. Pretty standard stuff with the exception of a clear divide in the affiliate ranks.

Between Bronze Consultant and Silver Consultant we go from “generate 200 GV a month” to a whopping “generate 16,500 GV a month.

I kind of feel like that’s an intentional hurdle 99.99% of Enerup World affiliates are not going to clear. And I don’t think that’s a coincidence – the volume jump is so large it looks like Enerup World is setting up its affiliates to fail (or at least stall at Bronze Consultant until they lose motivation).

Also not helping is this disclosure from Enerup World’s compensation plan;

We estimate that in Canada, the average plan participant will earn between $100.00 and $400.00 per year.

$100 to $400 a year expected earnings doesn’t match setting 16,500 GV a month at rank 5 of an eleven rank compensation plan.

Required GV across all ranks should be reworked to better reflect Enerup World’s “expected” annual earnings.

Beyond that there’s also the question mark of whether monthly PV requirements are being met by retail sales or an affiliate’s own order.

Enerup World doesn’t require affiliates to maintain autoship but also doesn’t require them to focus on retail sales. This opens the door for autoship recruitment, wherein an Enerup World affiliate is on autoship and earning on recruited affiliates also on autoship.

If this is happening company-wide, then Enerup World is effectively operating as a pyramid scheme.

The good news is establishing whether this is the case at a micro level is straightforward. Ask your potential Enerup World upline how they’re meeting their monthly PV requirement.

If it’s not primarily through retail sales (i.e. they are self-qualifying each month without retail sales), then that affiliate is running their Enerup World MLM business as a pyramid scheme.

I want to give Enerup World the benefit of the doubt but with nothing really standing out across its product lineup, it’s a bit hard to.
