Cashbery launched about a year ago and name Artur Vardanyan (Артур Варданян) as Chairman of the Board.

According to Vardanyan’s corporate bio;

in the past (he) held position of the head of the credit department and the deputy chief of the economic security service in one of the largest Russian banks.

Multiple incorporation documents are provided on the Cashbery websites, mostly in Russian.

There is the token UK incorporation for “Cashbery Limited” though.

Vardanyan (right) is listed as Cashbery Limited’s sole Director, however he’s cited as a UK resident.

The address provided for Cashbery Limited and Vardanyan is a random serviced office address in London.

So if that’s any indication, the rest of the incorporation documents are meaningless.

UK incorporation is dirt cheap and for the most part unregulated. It is a favorite for scammers looking to incorporate dodgy companies.

Possibly due to language-barriers, I wasn’t able to verify any external information on Vardanyan.

He does appear to be an actual person though and appears (or whoever is portraying him) in multiple Cashbery promotional videos.

Taking into consideration the native language of the Cashbery website being Russian, all of the company social media accounts using Russian, Russia being the top source of traffic to the Cashbery website (56%, Alexa) and Russian incorporation documents provided, it’s highly likely that Cashbery is being operated from within Russia itself.

Cashbery has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market Cashbery affiliate membership itself.

Cashbery pay referral commissions via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

Cashbery cap payable unilevel levels at five, with commissions paid out as a percentage of funds invested across these levels.

Conclusion

Cashbery presents itself as a financial services provider on the front-end, but on the back-end is set up like your typical Ponzi scheme.

The company provides no evidence of loans taking place or being used to fund affiliate ROIs.

There is a “loans” tab on the Cashbery website, however it’s restricted to Russian visitors only.

Meanwhile the more a Cashbery affiliate invests, the higher their ROI.

And if you’re wondering why Cashbery has a 400 day maturity period, it’s because it appears the scheme has already collapsed once.

Last April the website Vklader reported Cashbery investors claiming non-payment;

I know that I was not the only one who was frozen and offered to throw money through insurance.

It’s such a sweet little SCAM! The project stopped paying.

When the yield reached 23%, they wrote that my account was frozen, ostensibly the borrowers did not return microloans.

But they ordered to pay 2 insurance for 10% and 20% of the contribution and then supposedly in 26 days promised to unfreeze.

This seems to have been addressed by locking up invested funds for 400 days.

That time-frame means Cashbery is likely to run into problems again sometime in the next 6-12 months (400 days = just over 13 months).

The only verifiable source of revenue entering Cashbery is new investment, which along with paying pyramid recruitment commissions, is likely also the prime source of ROI revenue.

Using newly invested funds to pay existing affiliates a ROI makes Cashbery a Ponzi scheme.

As with all Ponzi schemes, once affiliate recruitment dies down so too will new investment.

This will starve Cashbery of ROI revenue, eventually prompting a collapse.

As previously noted, Cashbery has an extraordinarily long maturity period. This gives Artur Vardanyan and whoever he’s working with plenty of time to cut and run when the time comes.

In this manner investor losses are maximized, as monopoly money ROIs can be paid to backoffices while Vardanyan quietly makes his getaway.
