Thirty-One Gifts consultants have announced the MLM company is closing its doors.

Dear Customers & Friends-

I hope this message finds you well. It is with a heavy heart that I must share some significant news regarding our cherished company, Thirty-One Gifts.

After many years of bringing joy and empowerment to countless individuals and families, the difficult decision has been made to close our doors.

In case you’re wondering, “chemo bags” refers to gift bags distributed to cancer patients.

Social media posts from Thirty-One Gifts distributors suggests the company will shut down on December 15th, 2024.

Strangely enough, while its consultants are informed, Thirty One Gifts has yet to publicly confirm it is closing.

Thirty-One Gifts was launched by founder Cindy Monroe (right) in 2003.

Over the last twenty-two years, Thirty-One Gifts cites itself as

one of the largest direct sales companies started in the last 20 years, with more than five-billion dollars in total sales.

As of September 2021 SimilarWeb was still tracking ~451,000 monthly visits to Thirty-One Gifts website. 98% of Thirty-One Gifts’ website traffic originates from the US.

BehindMLM reviewed Thirty-One Gifts in 2016. The company marketed a range of women’s fashion items and had a strong focus on retail sales.

Thirty-One Gifts appear to offer a pretty robust women’s fashion offering.

On the compensation side of things Thirty-One Gifts offers strong retail incentives, by way of increasing retail commissions with affiliate rank.

Retail commission incentives are often absent in MLM compensation plans, so this is great to see.

Specifics as to why Thirty-One Gifts is closing remain unclear. Cindy Monroe hasn’t posted on social media in almost two months.

Update 26th October 2024 – In what appears to be a cash grab, Thirty-One Gifts has dropped its Consultant signup fee to $1.
