Shaklee acquires what’s left of Modere
Following Modere’s collapse, Shaklee has announced it has acquired what’s left of the company.
Under the leadership of Nate Frazier, Modere collapsed in April 2025 without prior warning.
As per a May 23rd press-release;
Shaklee … has acquired substantially all of Modere’s business through a subsidiary.
The acquisition includes Modere’s rights to all the trademarks, patents, and formulas for all Modere products.
The acquisition also includes all the manufacturing and testing equipment in Modere’s North American manufacturing facilities and all related inventory.
Going forward Shaklee will hold an exclusive license to sell Liquid Biocell, Modere’s collagen supplement.
All of these products will be available to purchase through Shaklee’s network of ambassadors and on Shaklee.com.
Liquid BioCell Collagen, Trim, Sculpt, Burn and Curb will all be available for sale as of Wednesday, May 28th, 2025.
Shaklee launched in 1956 and is headed up by Chairman and CEO Roger Barnett (right).
As reviewed by BehindMLM in August 2020, Shaklee combines multivitamins with forced affiliate purchases.
In addition to multivitamins, today Shaklee’s website markets a range personal care and “green home” products.
How much Shaklee paid to acquire what was left of Modere has not been publicly disclosed.
It’s amazing that a company that is essentially bankrupt ($2.5 billion in the hole) can buy up all of these defunct MLM companies. Where are they getting all the money from to buy them.up?
