Iyovia investment fraud warning from Chile
Iyovia has received an investment fraud warning from from Chile’s Financial Market Commission (CMF).
CMF included Iyovia in a list of unregistered investment schemes, published on August 5th, 2025.
The CMF asserts Iyovia is an “unregulated investment platform”.
The Financial Market Commission (CMF) informs investors and the public that the following entities are not registered before the CMF nor authorized to provide services regulated by Law No. 21,521, also known as the Fintech Act.
Offering unregistered investment services to Chilean residents violates Chile’s Fintech Act.
The FTC sued Iyovia, fka IM Mastery Academy and iMarkets Live, and several top promoters on May 1st, 2025. The FTC alleges Iyovia co-owners Christopher and Isis Terry defrauded consumers out of $1.2 billion.
Shortly after the FTC filed suit, Iyovia collapsed on May 23rd. In June 2025 the FTC alleged Iyovia wasn’t meeting its financial obligations. Chris and Isis Terry were non-responsive and appear to have gone underground.
As of August 2025, the four promoter defendants have each settled and consented to permanent injunctions. Proceedings against Iyovia and the Terrys continue.
