OneCoin affiliates banned from “vandalizing” Wikipedia
Following the creation of an English OneCoin Wikipedia entry back in March, no less than one hundred and eight edits have been made.
A large number of these have been broad revisions to the original article, which remove information critical of OneCoin and replace it with uncited marketing material.
Since May 20th twenty-eight edits have been made. The revision history for the OneCoin Wikipedia article reveals most of these are censorship attempts and their corresponding reverts.
This hasn’t gone unnoticed by Wikipedia staff, who today banned OneCoin affiliates from further vandalizing the page.
A”Temporary semi-protection” request dated May 30th claims the OneCoin entry has been subject to “persistent vandalism” by ‘IP/vandal-only accounts wanting to remove negative information about the company.‘
An hour later a Wikipedia admin looked into the request and concluded: ‘looks like whitewashing to me.‘
He then applied a one month protection status to the OneCoin entry, which temporarily prohibits OneCoin affiliates from vandalizing it any further.
The temporary protection status currently in place is set to expire on June 30th.

It’s ridiculous! On page 7, they stated that she saved a 100 jobs at the “Walthofener Gusswerk”. That is not true at all. The opposite was already revealed.

The famous German news-magazine “Der Spiegel” also wrote an article about OC and her CEO. It’s called “Faktor Fünf (Factor Five)” and it was written by Anne Seith (Published on April 17. 2016 on . p 88).
It confirms the Suspended Sentence and it relates to foreign media reports and warns through the “German Consumer Protection (Dorothea Mohn)”. In this article, Ignatova claims – via statement – , that the company went broke because of the economic crises an that her lawyers will go on “appeal” regarding the above mentioned verdict.

Furthermore, on page 10 of that document, it is stated that the following websites were suspended due to the “defamation” of Ignatova.

It seems to me as OC is trying to avoid bad publicity.
So, as we can see, there are a lot of people (affiliates, lawyers etc.) who are trying to whitewash OC.
For those 2 websites listed above, onecoinscam & onecointrust, wouldn’t they have to be proven as telling lies, to be stopped. Just sounds like bullying to me.
Web hosts tend to suspend without any proof.
Surprisingly, “no”. Merely a threat is often enough. Remember, OneCoin lawyers are supported by big pockets of victim money. Scambusters are supported by sense of justice and often little else.

I have edited wikipedia and the one coin article in the past. To bring it a bit more in line with the wikipedia standards and to remove or highlight some of the more fanciful stuff.
A topic like this usually ends up with a pretty crappy article on wikipedia, since you get the kind of edits trying to big up the scam, and those on the extreme opposite for example the string of these on 20th May wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Onecoin&type=revision&diff=721186417&oldid=721186124
Those documenting it based on actual reliable sources tend to be few and far between. And to be honest by wikipedia’s standards the link to behindmlm almost certainly shouldn’t be there (fails to meet the standards for reliable sources, being a self published work), though the real sources that Oz provides behind the articles are usable.
Until OneCoin inevitably collapses I very much doubt there will be a decent article on the matter on wikipedia.
I’m a bit sceptical about Onecoin having influence on any blogger with their so called lawyers.
In the early 2015 someone calling herself Irina, Onecoin’s “Head of Legal and Compliance Department”, approached Finnish blogger Petteri Järvinen and threatened him with legal consequenses in case he would not delete an article criticising Onecoin from his blog.
Of course he did not such thing but added an update “Onecoin threatens with legal actions – a scam confirmed”. Here he writes about Onecoin’s threat:

I don’t think there are many civilised countries where a company could sue a person criticising it.
As I documented in my blog I linked, LazyManandMoney was sued hard enough that he had to erase his stuff on a certain substance.
And Tracy Coenan spent 100K+ in her multi-year defense against Medifast lawsuit (she did win lawyer’s fees), and Jason “SaltyDroid” Jones was sued many times by people he riled on his blog that he puts up on his website that he has a lawfirm on retainer. 🙂
In Christoph Bergmann’s article – OneCoin: Riesen Gefahr oder super Chance? – from which I took the above cited quote – goes on like:
It may sound a bit self-inflicted but it’s nonetheless a “proof” that OC is after “getting rid off bad news everywhere”.
To be honest, I don’t know the original version of this article but it is not uncommon in Germany to a receive such a “letter” by a law firm in such cases.
These are the legal methods of companies such as OC. That’s how they are trying to avoid bad publicity!
Note, in German speaking countries (Germany, Austria and parts of the Switzerland) things like that happen everyday because most “Germans” do believe in papers which seem to be official. Especially, if they were sent by a law firm.
Who wants to have troubles with the law? Germans definitely not! Well, I guess that this is not much different in other “civilized” countries.
OC certainly won’t have an influence on any “blogger” but hiring a law firm to “scare” the hell out of them – so that they won’t publish negative reports no mo’ – might be an adequate way for them to deal with matters like these.
Such correspondence can be enough to change ones mind. For the Finnish blogger Petteri Järvinen it was definitly not as we could see.
OC only hires – as far as I know by now – relatively well-known companies (Breidenbach and maybe RA Schulenberg & Schenk in, too). Both of these firms are quite well established (in their Federal-States in Germany).
It’s more than imaginable that they were really able to take off the two already mentioned homepages. Even if “we” don’t know if it was proven” that they really told “lies” – if it was self inflicted (in any case) – or not. By the end of the day it doesn’t matter if they did it voluntarily or if a web-host was asked to do it.
Fact is, OC is active in the legal sphere!
Last but not least, there is a difference between criticizing and offending someone. One or the other might have gone a little bit too far with what they “wrote”.
So, seen from a legal perspective, what do we know?
OC …
I. lawyers send out “cease and desist” letters to bloggers
II. tries to take off homepages
III. is “vandalizing” on Wikipedia (or their affiliates are doing it)
IV. CEO received a verdict for failure to file for insolvency in due time and fraud
V. is considered to be a Ponzi-Scheme
Well, as the stuff has been erased it’s kind of hard to know what lead to that outcome.
However you might be right what comes to the justice system in the U.S. If all the tv series about law firms are even remotely close to reality then you have a chance to come out as a winner even if caught red handed in a murder scene.

Do you remember Schulenberg & Schenk …. yes the very lawfirm that “legalized” Onecoin..
They have this week released some promoting videos, where lawyer Andre Schenk alone and with other MLM’s are talking about protecting your name and brand against …yeh… pages like this.
Also that it is prohobited by law to disinform about competitors to gain for your own company’s good….. so he said and went on in another video dissing Swisscoin (good for them) that they had stolen his certification he made for another client (let us guess who … 🙂 ) and that you always should look into who is behind, how the webpage is build, what they are traiding, is it of any value etc…. (wouw that is an eye-opener!)
But he is a lawyer who has specialized into MLM and among other is sending such letters on behalf of clients as earlier mentiont.
Ruja also mentioned in one of her interview videos from her new office, that she was tired of the bad publicity and that she would hand it over to her lawyer to stop it….
Well, Ruja …. let it go to court … that would be interesting!
