Omnia Tech operate in the cryptocurrency MLM niche and provide a corporate address in Malta on their website.

This addressed is shared with a significant number of other companies (a lot of which are gambling related), suggesting Omnia Tech exists in Malta in name only.

Thomas Hintermaier (right) is the sole executive named on the Omnia Tech website and serves as Chief Technology Officer.

Hintermaier does not claim ownership of Omnia Tech on any of his social media profiles. Who runs and/or owns the company is not publicly disclosed.

The Omnia Tech website domain (“omnia-tech.eu”) was registered on July 31st, 2017. Christian Michel Scheibener is listed as the owner, through the same Maltese shell company address.

Hintermaier is based out of Austria, which is presumably where Omnia Tech is actually being operated from (or possibly elsewhere in Europe).

As per Hintermaier’s Omnia Tech corporate bio;

For more than ten years, he has dedicated his capabilities in quality management and production planning for the Oberderfer Siebtechnik and the Scapa Forming GmBH.

He has also engaged in an avocational work for the insurance industry which enabled him to master the technicalities of acquisition, consultancy, and support for customers.

In the middle of the year 2000, Ing. Hintermaier focused his skills towards the development of guidelines for projects related to Internet services.

He also took part in the integration of a network platform intended for companies in the building sector.

At present, he acts as a second CEO Selbstvorsorge Dientleistungs and Marketing GmBH.

As far as I can make out Hintermaier has no MLM experience.

On social media Christian Michel Scheibener (right) refers to himself as a “leading MLM headhunter”.

Up until about a month ago Scheibener was promoting Wor(l)d International.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

Omnia Tech Products

Omnia Tech has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market Omnia Tech affiliate membership itself.

The Omnia Tech Compensation Plan

Omnia Tech affiliates invest money on the expectation of a passive ROI:

  • Starter – $100
  • Kickstarter – $500
  • Light Miner – $1000
  • Mid Miner – $3000
  • Strong Miner – $8500
  • Master Miner – $15,000
  • Elite Miner – $25,000

ROIs are paid out daily based on which cryptocurrency an Omnia Tech affiliate chooses to mine.

Omnia Tech’s ROI revenue is purportedly generated through mining contracts with Genesis Mining.

Daily ROI

Omnia Tech offer affiliates a perpetual daily ROI, based on the offered cryptocurrency they choose to mine.

Omnia Tech currently offer mining in bitcoin, ethereum, ethereum classic, Z Cash and litecoin.

Recruitment Commissions

Omnia Tech affiliates are paid 10% of funds invested by personally recruited affiliates.

Residual Commissions

Omnia Tech pay residual commissions via a binary compensation structure.

A binary compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a binary team, split into two sides (left and right):

The first level of the binary team houses two positions. The second level of the binary team is generated by splitting these first two positions into another two positions each (4 positions).

Subsequent levels of the binary team are generated as required, with each new level housing twice as many positions as the previous level.

Positions in the binary team are filled via direct and indirect recruitment of affiliates. Note that there is no limit to how deep a binary team can grow.

At the end of each day Omnia Tech tally up new investment on both sides of the binary team.

Affiliates are paid 10% of matching $1000 amounts on both sides of the binary team, with unmatched volume on the stronger side carried over.

One $1000 pairing from both sides of the binary team is referred to as a “cycle”.

Omnia Tech affiliates can earn up to 40 cycles a day (10% of $40,000 = $4000), based on how much they have invested and convinced others to invest.

Matching Bonus

Omnia Tech pay a Matching Bonus on residual commissions earned by downline affiliates.

The Matching Bonus is paid out via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

Omnia Tech cap payable unilevel levels at four as follows:

  • level 1 (personally recruited affiliates) – 4% match on residual commissions
  • level 2 – 3% match on residual commissions
  • level 3 – 2% match on residual commissions
  • level 4 – 1% match on residual commissions

Monthly Turnover Extra Bonus

The Monthly Turnover Extra Bonus rewards Omnia Tech affiliates who encourage those they recruit to invest.

  • generate $25,000 in weaker binary leg volume in a month and receive $1250
  • generate $100,000 in weaker binary leg volume in a month and receive $4000
  • generate $250,000 in weaker binary leg volume in a month and receive $7500

Conclusion

Omnia Tech’s perpetual ROIs are purportedly sourced from Genesis Mining.

Genesis Mining are a well-known third-party merchant of cloud-based cryptocurrency mining.

Comparison of Genesis Mining’s own offered services and that of Omnia Tech raises the first red flag.

For the sake of simplicity we’ll compare Omnia Tech’s and Genesis Mining’s bitcoin mining package offerings.

Omnia Tech

  • Starter – $100 for 571.43 GH/S (285.72 GH/S payout)
  • Kickstarter – $500 for 2857.15 GH/S (1428.58 GH/S payout)
  • Light Miner – $1000 for 5714.30 GH/S (2857.15 GH/S payout)
  • Mid Miner – $3000 for 17,142.90 GH/S (8571.45 GH/S payout)
  • Strong Miner – $8500 for  48,571.55 GH/S (24,285.77 GH/S payout)
  • Master Miner – $15,000 for 85,714.50 GH/S (42,857.25 GH/S payout)
  • Elite Miner – $25,000 for 142,857.50 GH/S (71,428.75 GH/S payout)

Genesis Mining

  • Gold – $30 for 200 GH/S
  • Platinum – $350 for 2500 GH/S
  • Diamond – $1950 for 15,000 GH/S
  • Custom Plan – up to $26,000 for 200 TH/S (200,000 GH/S)

Both company’s plans have an identical ongoing monthly maintenance fee, subtracted from daily ROI earnings.

Across all offered plans, Genesis Mining offers far better value for money. Nowhere is this more pronounced than at the $26,000 Genesis Mining package, where for $1000 more customers receive almost three times as much hashing power.

So why would anyone want to invest with Omnia Tech over Genesis Mining directly?

The answer lies in the company’s MLM opportunity, which without retail sales operates as a pyramid scheme.

Omnia Tech affiliates sign up, invest money and are then paid to recruit others who invest.

Putting aside regulatory requirements for an MLM company that offers an investment opportunity (Omnia Tech are not registered with regulators in any jurisdiction they operate in), paying affiliates to recruit new affiliates in MLM is pyramid fraud.

Charging affiliates more for less hashing power is how Omnia Tech fund their recruitment commissions.

Which means unless you’re recruiting a boat load of people, you’re getting far less for your money than if you just invested directly with Genesis Mining.

For their part Genesis Mining don’t appear concerned that a pyramid scheme is publicly using their business partnership to promote itself. Even going so far as to have Genesis Mining co-founder Jakov Dolic appear at an Omnia Tech pre-launch event in London on September 17th.

The reality of pyramid schemes like Omnia Tech is that once affiliate recruitment inevitably slows down, so too do residual commissions paid out.

Genesis Mining’s daily ROIs will continue to pay out, but the big money is in affiliate recruitment.

With that dying off as Omnia Tech begins to collapse, affiliates will have to content with either taking a loss or waiting however long to recoup their losses through Genesis Mining trickle ROI payments.

That is assuming of course Genesis Mining continue to turn a blind-eye to pyramid fraud.

Should they terminate their partnership with Omnia Tech, best of luck recovering your money from a PO Box in Malta.

Update 5th December 2018 – As of late November Omnia Tech’s mining investment opportunity has collapsed. The company is now pushing crypto trading packages.
