game-loot-network-logoGame Loot Network is almost a year old. The company launched in mid 2015 and appears to have gone through several compensation plan revisions since.

Today we take a look at and review Game Loot Network’s latest compensation model, implemented just last month.

  2. maintain at least three personally recruited and active affiliates and

Builder Bonus

The Builder Bonus pays Game Loot Network affiliates when their personally recruited affiliates qualify at the Ruby to Sapphire ranks.

  • personally recruited affiliate qualifies as a Ruby = $500 paid to the recruiting affiliate
  • personally recruited affiliate qualifies as a Ruby II = $1000 paid to the recruiting affiliate
  • personally recruited affiliate qualifies as a Ruby III = $2500 paid to the recruiting affiliate
  • personally recruited affiliate qualifies as a Sapphire = $6000 paid to the recruiting affiliate

Note that the Builder Bonus is paid out on the fourth “qualified” recruited affiliate.

A qualified recruited affiliate in the Builder Bonus is one who has qualified at the Ruby or higher rank.

Joining Game Loot Network

Affiliate membership with Game Loot Network is tied to the purchase of a 500 game token pack ($100).

Game Loot Network affiliates must also pay $24.99 a month for access to a “marketing system”.

Conclusion

One of the glaring problems with the original Game Loot Network compensation plan was the lack of retail focus.

From our original Game Loot Network review:

Quite obviously the core focus of the business is to sign up at the $100 “Fun 500” level, pay a monthly fee and then recruit others who do the same.

To address this, Game Loot Network now requires every affiliate to maintain five Premium Gamers. These are retail customers on a $10 month subscription.

The Premium Gamer requirement satisfies 50 PV, which is half of the 100 PV a month affiliates require to be commission qualified. The remaining PV can be satisfied by either additional Premium Gamers or self-funded by the affiliate themselves.

Mathematically, if every affiliate is commission qualified you’re looking at 50% of revenue (after an affiliate’s first month) being sourced from retail customers.

This is a vast improvement over Game Loot Network’s original compensation plan.

Unfortunately the guaranteed commissions Game Loot Network offers might still be construed as a securities offering.

In MLM, commissions need to be directly tied to sales performance. If you start offering guaranteed commissions based on rank, regulators can see it as a securities offering.

As far as I know Game Loot Network are not registered with a securities regulator in the US or elsewhere.

To remedy this Game Loot Network would need to abolish guaranteed commissions based on rank and tie commissions to sales performance.

One final note, the Game Loot Network website is still devoid of company ownership and management information. This is crucial due diligence for any MLM opportunity that should be provided to the general public without exception.

If you’re interested in signing up as a Game Loot Network affiliate, I’d first recommend trying out the service as a Premium Gamer for a month or two.

See what your Premium Gamer customers are going to experience and then decide if it’s something you feel confident pitching to the general public. You’re going to need at least five Premium Gamers to get paid, so if you’re not confident marketing Game Loot Network’s service on a retail level you’re not going to earn anything.

Good luck!
